Gravity

Upon touching the invisible Trigger_Gravity brush, the player acquires the gravity state specified in the entity properties.

Must be a positive value, zero is not allowed. For the least possible gravity, use a value of point-1.

Use Trigger_Gravity entities in doorway areas between normal-grav and low-grav rooms. Make two entities, one for each gravity state. Say you're on the normal side, walking towards low-grav. First you pass through the normal-grav entity -- then the low-grav entity.

There is no way (to my knowledge) you can make a field which switches gravity on/off upon command.

Other ways to cause player motion

Trigger_Gravity and Player Respawn

In games which allow player respawn (e.g. Deathmatches), players respawn at the same gravity state as when they died. If you want to control the gravity state at which players respawn, you must take care to touch each respawn point with a Trigger_Gravity brush, set to the gravity appropriate for that area.
